GUIDELINES
Time Limit
No longer than 8 minutes for the entire show. (This includes your intro and exit)
All props and backdrops must be removed from the stage at the conclusion of your performance.
The show will begin promptly at 12:00 p.m.
Order of Show
The order of the show will be determined by a random drawing held in sponsor meeting.
The order of show will not be altered once chosen.

Synchronization/Precision
Complexity/Difficulty
Intro/Outro/Thematic Flow
There will be a panel of 7 judges
Judges will be knowledgeable of “stepping”. (trained or certified)
In the event of a tie, we will follow tie breaker rules
All judges’ decisions are final.
Only a registered coach will be allowed to pick up score cards after the show (if tangibly provided).
Sticks Mania Event Coordinators reserve the right to make the deciding judgement call on the desired layout of the show in terms of payout format
COMPETITION RULES
Director’s Information
All drum sections will meet at the common area near the GYM. DO NOT PLAY IN THE GYM! You will be sent to a designated warm-up room. The Sticks Mania Staff will be your guides if you need any help (we will try to assign each school a member of the staff to help you in any way needed).
Before performing, each drumline will have their pictures taken near the common area. Purchase of a photo is optional for each group. The pictures will be $20.00
Drumline/Steppers will then be moved to Gym for final rehearsal before performing.
After performing, each school will be escorted back to the common area near the GYM to store their instruments/equipment. There will be visible staff. Drumline/Steppers will then enter the Gym and enjoy the rest of the show.
Directors please be prepared to be interviewed on camera for “behind the scenes’ footage for the Battle of the Drumlins and Step Show
Fundraiser Tickets are $15.00 per person (participating schools will be required to sale), General Admission $15 and $20 At-the-Door.
Tickets will be sold via Eventbrite for general admission: Ticket Purchase However, you want to use your link and QR code for your school/programs Fundraiser Opportunity which will be created.
FUNDRAISER OPPORTUNITY:
Sticks Mania will provide a fundraiser opportunity to participating schools. Participating schools will be able to sell tickets at the price of $15.00 each. Sticks Mania will give you ($5.00 each ticket) of the $15.00 tickets your school sells. Sticks Mania will provide check to your schools music program or community program. Once your school/community program is registered, digital ticket flyer will be provided to the band director/coaches to distribute to drumline/pit members to sell.
